The Kollam dist also known as Quilon, is bounded by Arabian sea on the west and western ghats on the east. Kollam is the centre of the country’s cashew trading and processing industry. A landlocked district, Idukki is one of the most nature rich areas of Kerala. High rangesand wooded valleys are girdedby three main rivers.
