He was the hero of the South African team in the Perth Test match on 5-9 December 2005 when he defies the Australian Bowling attack to score 102* and held out for a draw. |

Pollock is more specifically a fast-medium bowler. but at times he can deliver a faster ball.His main weapons are his unwavering accuracy, reliability and his ability to make the ball swing both ways. He is also in command of a bouncer which rushes on to the batsman. He is also a very useful hard-hitting batsman who boasts more than acceptable Test and ODI averages of 32.58 and 24.67 respectively. |

Andrew Hall ( Bowler )
Andrew made his ODI debut against West Indies at Durban and Test debut against Australia at Cape Town in 2002 scoring 70 runs in his maiden Test innings. During the 2003 England tour, Hall took 16 wickets in the series, and ensured South Africa won at Headingley with a buccaneering 99 not out. As a tidy medium-pacer, he has opened the bowling on a semi-regular basis, but it has been his batting, combined with a wonderfully competitive approach to the game. |
