Dileep is on the fast track as he tries to re-invent his image once more in debutant director Jayasurya directed Speed produced by ‘Varnachitra' Subair.

Jayasurya has the right genes. He is the son of S.L.Puram Sadanandan the noted writer whose plays have been made into successful films. Jayasurya has graduated from the Fazil School of film making as he was an assistant to the noted director.

In Speed, Dileep plays an athlete and the film will be shot against the backdrop of a sports campus. Dileep plays Ajith Kumar an athlete from the hilly Idukki district of Kerala. The others in the cast are Jagathy, and Salim Kumar with music by Deepak Dev.

Says director Jayasurya: “ Speed will be fast paced entertainer with action and comedy”.
